Accelerate The Care would not be where it is today without the help and support from the Northern Michigan community.

Mark & Janet donated the 1979 Alfa Romeo for the 2023 raffle. They have been supporting Accelerate The Care for many years and were the initial funding to begin our scholarship program. They jumped in the drivers seat and joined our drive at the last minute while vacationing Up North in June of 2019. After seeing the roads of Leelanau County, on that amazing drive, they were hooked and are now proud owners in the county. John Elwell has been with ATC since the very beginning. He coordinates the drive stops and continues to help promote and grow our mission. ATC would not be the success that it is today without him. Thank you John for your continued help and support!

Karen Wasageshik-Case. Karen is a ATC scholarship recipient and has passed her CNA class to go on to taking the state exam. Karen and her instructor Deania Sinkler are two of the many caregivers that contiue to help the Alzheimer’s Community in Northern Michigan. A huge thank you to both of you and to all of the “Angel’s” that have chosen to help those in need.ion goes here

Thank you to the Board of Directors and my amazing husband. Each and every one of this group gave me the courage to JUST DO IT and to make a difference to the Northern Michigan Alzheimer's Community. Thank you to all of you for putting up with me and my crazy ideas. Hopefully handing over keys to cool cars and helping to support and love on so many caregivers makes it all worth while.

Having Mike create the route for our Annual Drive and lead the way, in one of his many cool cars, has been what makes our event so unique and fun for our drivers! If you have been on our annual drive no explanation is needed.

Ragan Burene is our marketing intern. Ragan is a student at Davenport University and will be Graduating in May. We love having this young and creative energy. Thank you Ragan!

Joe and Sijuola are two ATC scholarship recipients. The collaboration between Agape & ATC is bringing certified CNA’s to Northern Michigan to help with the need in our Alzheimer’s Community. Thank you Agape, Joe, Sijuola and all of the hard working caregivers in our community.

Deb and Audrey are two of our amazing volunteers. Deb and Audrey have helped make our annual drive a success with their hard work, enthusiasm, and fire hearted spirits. We are so lucky to have these two amazing women on our team!
